Escape to nature… but decadently.

Landrani marries a connection with nature and absolute luxury. From the moment Edmore fetches you from the parking area in the all-terrain golf cart, the experience begins; with sightings of Kudu, springbok, hares, and tortoises as you’re whisked up to the main lodge. The welcome from Bernadette is warm and friendly and the views are incredible. The selection of food and drinks options suited us perfectly – sometimes eating in, sometimes in the restaurant and sometimes cooking for ourselves

Our cabin was perfectly clean, high tech and set up with every possible need anticipated. We also loved the privacy. We look forward to returning as soon as we can.

The perfect Karoo getaway!

Goodness, you can literally not ask for anything more! The setting is incredible, views and stars and Karoo mountains. The facilities and amenities are excellent and the service and attentiveness is perfect, not too little and not too much. Landrani has perfected the Karoo getaway and thought about all the details to make you feel comfortable and nurtured. The food offering is great and “the lamb products are delicious.” We will go back at any time!

Klein Karoo Heaven!

Wow what an amazing experience!! The best hosts, the best food, the accomodation was neat, modern and clean!! Will be back in Feb for birthday!! This is perfect to break away from city life and to enjoy the quietness of the klein karoo! Close enough to town should you want to explore caves etc.

All in all, this is a 5 star place, and they deserve every star!! Also just a big thanks to the hosts, Bernadette and Pierre, what gentle souls!! Amazing people!! A special shoutout to Edmore, friendly guy that is always a radio call away!! Will be back!!

Great Stay at Landrani

Landrani Farmstay is a great and beautiful place to stay.
“The lamb dishes were delicious!”
The cabins were clean and open to all sides to see the beautiful landscape.
It was possible to see some animals from the cabin.
The views over the land were amazing.

Amazing Karoo Stay…

Very tranquil. Quiet. Private. Best Karoo experience. Very Safe -no need even to lock the doors. We walked a 3.2km circular route daily – fantastic experience with all the birdlife and 8 buck species. Staff provide 6 star service – nothing too much effort, 24/7. The lodge is big and beautiful. The pool and lapa is amazing. Sleeping units very private and away from the lodge. Massive bathroom, showers inside and outside, massive bath with a view to die for.

“We braaied (barbeque) daily with all meat and goodies provided by the lodge. Excellent quality.”

All in all: what a great experience on a working farm – separate from the lodge/wildlife.

Peaceful and content

We enjoyed every moment of our stay!
Everything is well organized.
The Kudus and Oryx were close to our cabin.
The braying of the donkeys in the distance made it even more special.
The hot tub was a delightful experience!
We were supplied with wood and ice.

Beautiful place a must stay

Landrani is a very special and beautiful place. From the warm welcome of Edmore when he comes to collect you to take you to the lodge to check in, to warm reception from Bernadette, you feel instantly welcome. The setting is absolutely breathtaking and you feel relaxed straight away. The cabin is so lovely and beautifully laid out.

It was such a lovely stay and thankful to Bernadette, Pierre and Edmore for making us feel so welcome and for your kindness shown to us throughout our stay. Highly recommended this wonderful place to anyone. God willing we will be back.

What an excellent experience!

We had the pleasure of staying at Landrani for 2 days & I have no words for the VIP Treatment we received from the time we made our reservation, to the time we were left. The cabins are luxurious, and have every possible amenity you can think of – the view from our patio, and every window in the cabin were just breath taking – not to mention the Lodge, the mangement and housekeeping team, and absolutely fantastic meals on offer “(the best lamb I have ever tasted!)” We got to experience the farm and fed Nyala’s by hand – a moment I will never forget. We returned home feeling like we had been on holiday for a month! What a treasure only a stone’s throw out of Outshoorn. We will definitely be back!

Landrani is a special place, a little slice of Karoo heaven. The units and amenities are top notch and we felt like we were staying in 5-star graded accommodation and hospitality. Thank you Bernadette & Pierre for going the extra mile, and a special thank you to Edmore for your kindness and special attention. We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic weekend away.

Wonderful weekend away. The modern, and very comfortable, cabin was kitted out with everything we could possibly need and offered wonderful views (Cabin no 2) over the mountains with exceptional sunrises, and sunsets. we were able to watch Springbok, Kudu and Sable right from our room. The staff were fantastic with exceptional attention to detail from our arrival through to the delivery of wood ice, and bottled water to our cabin at no additional cost. The Lodge is on a working farm and “we ordered lamb chops for our braai which were superb.” We would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

Star Haven

The most amazing stay, we got to meet the friendliest staff ever, great hospitality. The silence is magic and the full moon and stars HEAVENLY. 10/10 a must visit, we wil definitely be back for more relaxation.

A visit to Landrani is a memory forever!

A visit to Landrani is an experience that will be a memory forever! The view are to die for! The cottages are extremely well equipped should you want to braai, yet prepared meals to die for can be ordered from the restaurant.

Bernadette and her staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much to meet our needs. Our grandchildren loved feeding the lambs.

Awesome luxury farm stay family break

We stayed at Landrani during the July school holidays with our 2 daughters. Words cannot describe the beauty and peacefulness of the landscape. The accommodation was excellent in terms of finish and comfort. Even a mid-winter stay is no issue with the pellet fireplace and indoor braai. The addition of hot tubs (being trialed at a unit soon) would make Landrani even more inviting.

Each cabin has its unique advantages e.g. views of the sheep camps (4), sunrise/sunset (2,3) views, or even cabins 5 and 6 which are close to the feeding spot for the free roaming game (gemsbok, nyala, kudu, etc.). Once can walk the pristine concrete roadway around the property there are also apparently plans for establishing trails that would cater to those wanting to immerse themselves in nature and not just lounge in the sunken bath (complimentary wine in hand).

Bernadette and her team catered to every whim and Edmore eagerly answered the children’s calls over the 2-way radio for lamb feeding outings without delay.

“The cabin meal portions were more than enough and super tasty (we ordered the bobotie and ragou). Being able to buy excellent lamb products to take home at the lodge is a bonus.”

Would have loved to have been able to stay longer but will for sure be returning soon!

A must visit!

The attention to detail is extraordinary, from the coffee machine to the electronic light switches and blinds, perfectly placed bathtub, LANDRANI is must stay. The staff (especially Edmore) is phenomenal and always ready to help.

“Do yourself a favor and get a choppie from the fridge and braai every night!”

This place will see us over and over again.
